The World Happiness Report was released on Thursday, March 19, 2026. It is based on a three-year average of each population’s assessment of their quality of life. It takes into account six key factors that impact happiness: social support, income, health, freedom, generosity, and the absence of corruption.

Once again, for the Ninth year running, the Happiest Country is Finland!

To celebrate, the Visit Finland (official tourism board of Finland) is holding the Chill-Like- A-Finn contest and giving away all inclusive free trips to Finland! 😍😍

This June, you can get the chance to experience where and how the world's happiest people spend their summer holidays. The 7 Day Challenge in Lakeland invites travellers to compete in calmness and win at stillness. During the challenge, the chosen participants will take part in experiences inspired by regional highlights and the Finnish way of holidaying, from lakeside saunas and forest walks to local food experiences.
